Accessibility
The facility is step-free on the ground floor, with ramps to access climbing mats. The locker rooms are on the ground floor as well and include accessible stalls. As we plan the layout of the gym for our programming, we are highly considerate of ensuring wide, navigable aisles and clear paths of travel. True to ParaCliffHangers’ philosophy, our planning team proudly includes members with diverse disabilities, and we are excited to make Owl Night a delightfully accessible experience.
There are two non-accessible mezzanines with workout equipment. No Owl Night programming will be occurring in those areas.

The nearest subway station to Movement LIC is Court Square 23rd Street, which is wheelchair accessible. The station is served by the E, G, and 7 trains. The gym is also within the service area of Access-A-Ride. Street parking is available but limited. Please check parking signs.
Of course! We will designate a sensory-friendly space for decompressing and rest. Additionally, we will manage the volume of music and other background noise to make the event as inclusive as possible.
ParaCliffHangers is proudly led by a blind Executive Director, so this is nothing new! We have screen reader tested all registration portals and competition scorekeeping mechanisms to ensure a smooth experience. During the event, you are more than welcome to explore on your own or have a volunteer sighted guide assigned to assist you. If possible, we ask that you send us an email ahead of time at owlnight@paracliffhangers.org if you would like a guide.
ParaCliffHangers is fully dedicated to ensuring an inclusive experience for all participants. If you have any questions or feedback, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at owlnight@paracliffhangers.org, and we will be more than happy to connect with you!
General Information
To ensure everyone is accounted for and able to climb safely, we are asking all participants to also register on the Movement webpage (it’s so quick, we promise). Please note you will not be charged when you register through the Movement portal. On the day of the event, you will be checked in both by Movement staff and by ParaCliffHangers, so make sure you’re signed up on both systems. Walk-ins are welcome, but if you register by January 20th you will receive a limited edition Owl Night sticker at check-in!

**For safety reason, after 10pm we will lock the doors and ask those entering the event to call the front desk staff to have someone let them in.

We ask that any children under 13 years old are accompanied by an adult. All participants will need a waiver filled out by a parent or legal guardian.
All questions can be sent to owlnight@paracliffhangers.org, we’ll be happy to assist!
